Mood: Pensive
Music: Hannah Montana - If We Were A Movie
Random Note: My MP3 player is dying T.T
Everybody probably remembers many of their first times in their lives, some of them more memoriable ones being:
- First loves (oh my, the WILD puppies)
- First kisses
- First hanky panky moments (wat?)
- First private moments~ (and I dun want to go about elaborating that!)
Well, it's good to know that I'm still young enough to find "first times". Today, I made a sucessful "deal" in getting the phone exchanged for my bud!
On normal occasions, people tend to find me the quarrelsome one who'll always be able to argue with the service person for a better deal. You see, the fact is I usually argue because I have a well-thought out idea of why "this is sensible, logical and I want it my way". I do not (usually) try to rip a person off just because it would benefit me.
It was definitely my first time having to go into a place to get something fixed even though I couldn't think of a "sensible, logical" idea XD I must say, it was really a first time for me to remember. I was never so nervous in getting the services I want from a store before.
You see, logically the iPhone's warrenty does not cover cosmatic defects. Further more, no coverage will warren personal accidents.
Okay, so technically I had to lie my way through the entire 2 sessions of getting the job done. I feel terrible about it! Honestly I do (never. never ever done it till this very day)...
And I guess it felt like right thing to do if we were gonna leave the country on a peaceful note (trust me, you do not want a X with a sad face + the thought of "because you asked 'wat time is it'").
So having balance up my guilt + having a happy buddy = Okay me. Still...there are many many many lingering thoughts in my head. Am kinda too tired to compile them now.
Left the phone at X's place and headed home for some rest. I must say, I am impressed with Apple's customer service. It is really quite efficient, and the staff are friendly (though you might have trouble understanding their accent as they seem to be from different nations. I spoke to a philipino and australian I think).
Please do not confuse Apple's services with what's offered at Singtel. I emphasize on that matter please! XD
Nonetheless, I owe the 2 staff a letter of recommendation (with special compliments to the guy since he was the one whom initiated the exchange on the spot). Will have to get that done soon! =)
Time to hit the sack, good nite!
Ah Jon
